Screen printing is the process of pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen to create a printed design. Since we have two automatic presses, a manual press, and three of the best screen printers in the Triangle, this imprint technique is kind of our bread and butter at BAYSIX. It’s most commonly used on t-shirts, but is a rather versatile technique that can be used on anything from sweatshirts to tote bags. The popularity of screen printing is largely due to its capacity to produce vivid colors, even on darker fabrics, and the ease with which it can consistently reproduce designs at scale.
Embroidery is the art of applying decorative designs onto fabric using a needle. We have two six-head embroidery machines in-house which we run everything from hats and backpacks to polos and other corporate wear on. Embroidery is a precision art form, so it’s a bit more expensive and time consuming than other techniques, but the professionalism, durability, and polish it brings to table are unparalleled.

Alternative Imprint Methods
Though screen printing and embroidery are our primary imprint methods, often there are better or more practical options for more unique items like drinkware, ornaments, and even golf balls! We take pride in being able to cater to our clients' diverse needs and budgets. Since we have a varied arsenal of equipment in-house, we can offer pad printing, dye sublimation, vinyl heating pressing, and even more!
